About Bill's Builders

Bill's Builders was founded in 2005 by William (Bill) Cartwright, a third-generation builder who learned the trade from his father and grandfather. After 10 years working for larger construction firms, Bill set out on his own with a simple belief: that good building work should speak for itself.

Starting with small domestic jobs in South Leeds, word spread quickly. Today, the business employs a team of eight skilled tradespeople and manages projects across the whole of West and North Yorkshire.

We remain a family business — Bill's son Tom joined the company in 2019 after completing his construction management degree, and together they run day-to-day operations with the same commitment to quality that the business was built on.
